【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversminimumrequirementsforthedesign,performance,testing,andclassificationoffootweardesignedtoprovideprotectionagainstavarietyofworkplacehazardsthatcanpotentiallyresultininjury.1.2Theobjectiveofthisspecificationistoprescribefit,function,andperformancecriteriaforfootwearthatisintendedtobeworntoreduceinjuries.1.3Thisspecificationisnotintendedtoserveasadetailedmanufacturingorpurchasingspecification,butcanbereferencedinpurchasecontractstoensurethatminimumperformancerequirementsaremet.1.4Controlledlaboratorytestsusedtodeterminecompliancewiththeperformancerequirementsofthisspecificationshallnotbedeemedasestablishingperformancelevelsforallsituationstowhichindividualsmaybeexposed.1.5ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.6Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
