【摘要】:Thechoiceofpigmentsandextendersinfluencestheappearance,durability,cost,andotherpropertiesofpaint.Thistestmethodisaconvenientway,andprobablythemostreliable,toidentifypigmentsinpaint.1.1Thistestmethodcoverstheidentificationofcrystallinepigmentsandextendersinliquidpaintanddrypaintfilm.Itisapplicabletobothwater-reducibleandsolvent-reduciblepaint.Italsomaybeusedtoidentifypigmentandextenderingrindpasteoraloneasdrypowder.Itisnotapplicabletoamorphouscomponentssuchascarbonblack,amorphoussilica,orhighlyprocessedclay.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SpecifichazardstatementsaregiveninSection6.
